Monday Nights!

Youth group!!!!!!!!!
oh my god it makes Mondays so much better. Ok so every Monday Ellie, Walker, Cody, Scarlet and me all go to youth group at calvary chapel. It is so much fun. Just a time to hang out. On the first Monday of every month the leader, Casey, takes us all to Dairy Queen and pays for us all to get some ice cream. But, no matter if we go with Casey or not, after youth group every night walkers dad takes us if we pay. And we walk through the drive through with our "CAR". We all line up in a line, pretend role down the window and order. But they never hear us so we have to go to the window and order :D And Isaac Bartel works there, OH HES SO HOT! but thats besides the point. It gets over at 8:30, but we tell walks dad to pick us up at 9:00. So we walk down the road late at night as far as we can. This one time we almost got RAPED! Ok so it wasn't very dark out and we had just passed this one persons house and we just walked by their drive way when this white van without any windows,"the rapist van" and it drove past us, and we saw th reak lights and it slowed down. So we are all like FREAKING OUT! then it backed up towards us! but then it took off. So youth group is super fun, but friends make it better

Westward Expansion Project

1.Did you stand up straight but stay relaxed?
Yes . I felt like i stood up straight. I would not say I was relaxed.
2.Did you pause for a moment before you began your speech?
No I forgot to. But it was all fine.
3.Did you look at your audience?
Not at all. I looked right above their heads. Other wise I get to nervous and forget all my information.
4.Did you let your facial expressions naturally reflect what you were saying?
not at all. I just kept my same face the whole time.
5.Did you use your hands in your presentation?
No I just used my mouth. I did not use hand motions.

6.Did you speak loudly enough so that everyone could hear you?
I felt like I did. But it is very quite in the movie.
7.Did you change your tone to show how you felt (upset, excited) about an idea or to emphasize a point?
No I don't really know how. I was not upset or excited.
8.Was your speed of delivery too fast, too slow or just right?
Just right. I was not to fast, sometimes might have been to slow. But I think it was right.
9.Did you practice your speech at home before giving it?
Once. Before my dad. He was helping me proof if.
10.What did you notice that you did well in your speech?
I would say i knew all of my information. It was good because I always had something to say.
11.Describe one aspect of public speaking you will work to improve?
Not saying "um.." as much as I did. I have always had that bad habit.
